Our Story

from humble beginnings can come big dreams....

as a Mexican immigrant family arriving to Houston in the 1970's, we experienced what it meant to grow up in 2nd ward.  Like so many other young people in 2nd ward we were lucky enough to have access to the community center at Angelita Fraga... many of their programs and the community helped shape our futures. We lived on North Milby Street, just a few steps from where the cafe is standing now.  We hope that Blanca's cafe can help keep some of our heritage in the neighborhood and introduce a a new generation to our "Mexicanidad"
